Description

In our Swiss dialect there is the expression "Raschelsäggli", at least in Basel German. This refers to a small plastic bag of a very special material. The packaging usually says "Mehrzweckbeutel" (multi-purpose bag) - which is what nobody calls or uses in our country. But that at least gives the purpose. Such expressions are of course different and specific from region to region and dialect to dialect. I call this language intimacy. They are expressions that you only get to know when you are on the spot or have to do with people from this area or this cultural circle - when there is a certain relationship, intimacy. But when you get to know it and understand it, it is as normal as any other expression and you know exactly what it is about. But just: it needs the relationship and personal experience for such a revelation. It seems to me that it is exactly the same with certain terms from the Bible: grace, sin, salvation and not least faith, love, hope.

I wish you an extraordinary day!
