Description

I recently bought a baking mat. It's a silicone sheet that I roll out and use to work the dough for baking on: Be it kneading or rolling out. It's a great thing: it's non-slip and it's wonderful to work on and the surface underneath stays clean, it's much easier to wipe up, clean up. Especially after processing, there is often a lot of flour residue and other things that are sticky. I can detach the mat and clean it under running water - for a new use. It reminds me of my life with God. In my relationship with him and Jesus, he gives me such a mat on which I can live my life and also make mistakes, it can also become floury and sticky. Through his willingness to forgive, I can always start anew, cleaned like the mat without old encrusted stories. This is not only practical, but also liberating and a privilege.

I wish you an extraordinary day!
