Description

Many people love balloons. Today there are all kinds of balloons in the shape of letters, cakes, palm trees, smiley faces, etc. In the past, we only knew the round balloon. It was a happiness when it was filled with helium and floated upwards for some time. At weddings, balloons with cards were released and the balloon whose card was returned from the furthest place was the winning balloon. Sometimes I think our life is like that of such a balloon: at birth, the breath of life is breathed into us analogous to helium. We learn to live, rise, reach heights and also depths and at the end of life we sink again, return to where we came from. Origin and end and in between our life. Today I ask you: Where are you travelling right now? Where do you want to end up? And how do you imagine that your life will continue after you land? A re-fill perhaps into another, eternal world as the Christian faith proclaims?

I wish you an extraordinary day!
