Description

It's barbecue season again. When I was a kid, we used to grill when we went hiking, but not on the terrace or otherwise in everyday life. I like a piece of meat or vegetable or grilled cheese better from the grill than from the pan. But when I think back to the old days, it's not only the end product that makes it special, but also the atmosphere, the surroundings. So it's not only the what that counts, but also the how. It seems to me that today we want to bring the extraordinary into our everyday life as extensively as possible and overlook the fact that the extraordinary is only extraordinary because it takes place in the context of the ordinary. This means that the ordinary, the unspectacular is also part of the extraordinary and makes it possible for the extraordinary to exist in the first place. Consider this in the sometimes unexciting or boring everyday life: This is the perfect breeding ground for the extraordinary.

I wish you an extraordinary day!
