A beehive is a tightly woven basket. It serves as a home for the bees and protects them sufficiently from environmental influences. Thus, bees can build their home and live their lives as entire colonies in such baskets. From the human point of view, this is a conscious, controlled act, because humans have created the basket and placed it accordingly. From the bees' point of view, it is probably simply a way of finding a home. What is considered a conscious act for some - the humans - is possibly a coincidence for others - the bees. It is often like this in our lives, our everyday life: we may perceive certain circumstances, encounters etc. as coincidental or inconspicuous - yet they may have been consciously brought about from a different perspective. I believe that God gives us such conscious events from His perspective again and again. Perhaps today is a day to experience the day with this optic.
