Description

Some say they believe only what they see. The conscious decision for the acceptance of a fact or a being convinced therefore involves a corresponding visible proof. So also in the God-relationship. God is invisible, so one does not believe in his existence. This was already the case for Jesus' closest friends: after his resurrection, his friend Thomas said the well-known words that he could only believe in the resurrection if he could put his hands into the stigmata of Jesus. His wish was granted. However, I would say that if you hear a familiar sound, like the flushing of the toilet, you don't see anything if you are in another room and yet you don't question that the flushing exists or that someone has triggered it. So our beliefs are not only dependent on the sense of sight. Here, it is worthwhile to critically self-reflect on one's own convictions and determinations.

I wish you an extraordinary day!
