Do you know the experience that when you are enthusiastic about something and want to convince others of it or infect them with your enthusiasm, others who don't see it that way can be real brake pads? And do you perhaps even get annoyed with these people because they slow you down in front of others? In fact, this may be quite annoying - because it affects our ego and we don't get the approval or encouragement we want. On the other hand, such people are sometimes a real blessing. I was out on my bike the other day and my brakes were pretty worn out. I no longer felt really safe for a situation in which I would have had to brake hard on the spur of the moment. It reminded me of the value of a brake and how life-saving it can be. Perhaps this perspective will help you the next time you find yourself in a similarly frustrating situation.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
