Depending on the design, I find buttons something beautiful, sometimes real bijous or works of art, unique pieces. I'm talking here about buttons that are sewn onto a garment and that have a corresponding hole or slit as a counterpart for fastening. I find it interesting that the buttons, which are usually sewn on, must have at least two buttonholes. One is not enough, because otherwise you can't put the thread around the button in such a way that it holds. So one hole for threading in and one for threading out and then knotting behind it. That's how it holds. With only one hole, there would have to be so much resistance on the button that it would be bigger than the buttonhole for the fastening to hold and that would hardly be nice. So the buttonholes are also part of the design, the characteristic of a particular button. This is how functionality and beauty come together. Great, if that works. Do you also enjoy such phenomena, the little ones in everyday life?
I wish you an extraordinary day!
