Description

The familiar question - which was first? The chicken or the egg? In faith it is similar. John tells us in his account of Jesus that Jesus once said "If you do not see miracles and signs, you do not believe". So: first miracles and signs and then faith? Or first faith and then miracles and signs? If the former, my faith is always dependent on whether I experience supernatural things - if not, my faith wavers. But if my faith is there first, then signs and wonders happen as a result. And even if not - my faith remains and is firm and the signs and wonders are rather a proof of my faith, but no longer a prerequisite. So as with the well-known comparison: faith is then not a thermometer, which only reflects the environment, but a thermostat - which actively shapes it. How is it with you? Do you believe and thus experience the supernatural or do you make your trust in God dependent on what you experience?

I wish you an extraordinary day!
