We talked yesterday in the last episode of Audiostretto about simplicity and how this is sometimes more effective than a perfectly targeted solution that you won't achieve. I used the example of drawing a bird. But what if it's a completely different example, a completely different challenge? In such cases, I find it helpful to stick to the saying "How do I tell my child?" It's about formulating something in a way that a child can understand. On the one hand, this means that you have to reduce the complexity, but at the same time you also have to put yourself in the position and situation and the abilities of a child in order to make a choice of words that is appropriate for children or, more generally, appropriate for my counterpart. The advantages of this are taking a different perspective and actively searching for the right language. These are two important factors for sustainable communication.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
