Description

Do you know this effect: You look through a wire mesh or picket fence and you can see most of what is behind it, but still the pickets or wire interfere with your view and they affect your vision. So you have the impression that not everything can be seen clearly or undisturbed. The disturbing elements in the view distract from the actual. We sometimes feel the same way mentally and spiritually: we recognise something, but there are also disturbing elements, such as perhaps our intellect or our logic or limited knowledge, etc. I think it is the same with our knowledge of God. We only recognise fragments and not the full extent. In the letter to the Corinthians, Paul puts it this way: "Now we look into a mirror and see only mysterious outlines, but then we look face to face. By this he means: on this side of life we can only glimpse God and his nature, the whole truth comes later. Exciting, I think...

I wish you an extraordinary day!
