Do you know what Easter and Christmas have in common? It is twofold. On the one hand, of course, the main character: Jesus, and on the other hand, a direction. A direction? you may ask. Yes, exactly: a direction. At Christmas we look to the east from the Western World and at Easter? At Easter, it is the east hidden in the name: the East-er. You can laugh or smile about it. I noticed it the other day. and it reminded me that in life we sometimes live with familiar things for years without being aware of them. Or have you ever noticed the compass direction in Easter? So I wish you for today that God gives you such moments of revelation in and over your life and much joy in these revelations!
And by the way: there actually is only one thing in common at Christmas and Easter: Jesus. He is our direction to life.
