Description

We are all affected by the war in Ukraine and the unimaginable suffering caused by this war and others. The personal distress of individuals is unspeakable. A man named Jeremiah was also in such a situation and he wrote a book, Lamentations. In it he records how he fared in such times of war, how he suffered and how he turns to God in his distress with his lament. In the short book, in the third chapter, there are incredible glimmers of hope despite the great hardship. Among other things, he writes there "When I cried out to you, you, God, came and said to me, "Do not be afraid". What a powerful statement. In all the bewilderment, this gives hope, courage, strength and comfort, I think. If you are also struggling with a situation or an area of pain, let Jeremiah's experience be an encouragement to you.

I wish you an extraordinary day!
