I went to the pharmacy the other day and ordered a certain product. Before I left the pharmacy again, I was given a small piece of paper as confirmation of my order. To me, this note seemed obsolete. The staff have known me for years and since I would be coming back the next day to pick up the product, I didn't see the reason for this note. The next day I picked up the product, showed the note properly and everything went smoothly. The note was not necessary. But: if I had forgotten, if a new employee had served me or if I had come much later - the note would have served as a witness to my order. We sometimes need such witnesses in everyday life. Especially when our feelings say something different from reality or doubts plague us. That we are creatures created by God and loved by Him is sometimes doubtful for us. But the empty cross is a visible and speaking witness.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
