Ideally, when you move into a new flat or holiday home, there will already be cupboards in the rooms. Cupboards are basically functional objects, but in my opinion they are not just that. Free-standing cupboards in particular are part of the room furnishings and therefore also have a certain aesthetic function. Carpenters are able to customise this aesthetic. In the past, there were also cabinets and cupboards that were beautifully decorated with ornaments or paintings. Why actually? Because we have a sense of beauty and this has a great influence on our mood, motivation and therefore our ability to create and perform. A carpenter therefore not only does functional work, but also aesthetic work. Today, try to do your everyday tasks with an attitude and design of beauty - setting the table, greeting people, writing emails - and all the other things that we call ordinary or that we no longer even notice.
