In ancient Greece, public offices were determined by lot. That was their understanding of democracy. For us today, a rather strange, unfamiliar idea. Chance decides who governs politically? I actually find the idea interesting and the procedure good. After all, we don't really use our governments as a representative compilation of the population, but mostly well-educated, not infrequently wealthy and well-connected interested parties are elected. But the final selection does not correspond to a representative picture of the population. I believe that in life we still have to deal with many an area in the same way. But just because it is familiar to us does not mean it is the best solution. If you find yourself in a situation where what you are used to is being questioned by circumstances or people - allow it to happen and think about whether it is not being done rightly. And maybe it is even time to change something.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
