It is easier to judge many things from a distance. We are less emotionally involved. From a distance, we can judge other people and their fates more easily than if their fate is close to us because of a personal relationship. So it is easier for us to say from a distance that this or that is simply not possible. For example: we have now taken in enough refugees. On the other hand, if we know refugees personally, it is more difficult for us to make a blanket decision. We are beings with feelings and are built on relationships. That's why a fate affects us more when we know the person concerned. Nevertheless, we also have to say that it is good that we sometimes have distance and can thus also make difficult decisions for the common good and that we thus also have a certain emotional protection, because otherwise all fates would overwhelm us. Proximity and distance. We need both experiences.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
