Drawers or pigeonholes do not only enjoy a good reputation. Namely, when they are synonymous with classifying, cataloguing or even pigeonholing people without serious examination. We classify people and, as it were, lock them away in our imagination and opinion of them without giving them the chance to be - in our perception - as they actually are. Nevertheless, pigeonholes help us to bring order into our lives. To take care of things in an orderly manner and to remove them from our field of vision in order to be free for other things. That is why I am grateful for drawers. I can take care of something and know where to find it when I need it without always having it visibly in front of me. That wouldn't work either, because with an increasing number of things, chaos would ensue. So pigeonholing is not only bad, but also helpful - as long as the people or things in there are given the freedom to change the drawer.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
