A drilling rig can handle enormous loads. Small and medium-sized drilling rigs, for example, are a maximum of 30m high and capable of lifting loads of up to 200 tonnes. What power! Such drilling rigs extract material from the earth's interior that would not come to the surface on its own. In our parlance, we also talk about someone drilling down when they persistently or specifically ask questions. This can be unpleasant - like the borehole for the earth. But it can also be healing, in the sense that it brings things to light that we would never see or be able to process ourselves. If you find yourself in a situation where someone is drilling into you, remember that with anything unpleasant, nothing comes to light that is not already there. Just because it is not in the consciousness or known does not mean that it is not there. And bringing it to light is often healing and helpful in one's own life.
