For me as a child, an effervescent tablet was like a table bomb on New Year's Eve: full of surprises, mysterious, astonishing, endlessly watchable and simply wonderful. With its bubbling in the water, it really caught my attention and I always wondered how it works, where in the tablet these thousands of bubbles are hidden. As an adult, you hardly ever ask yourself these questions any more. You throw the tablet into the water, do something briefly and then drink the drink with the dissolved substance. No more amazement, no more being spellbound, no more fascination. A pity, really. I think we miss out on so many beautiful things in everyday life because we're either so used to them or so busy with other things. Perhaps a reason to consciously notice the little things today. The growing smell of the toaster, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, the first spoonful of yoghurt or a ray of sunshine that hits you.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
