Description

I recently completed a safety training course at work as a refresher. Among other things, it covered behaviour in an emergency situation involving injured people. As a young person, I learnt an acronym - the GABI - in the emergency aid course, which I should use as a step-by-step guide when giving first aid to injured people. This acronym has become so engrained in my memory that I can recite it very spontaneously - even though a completely different acronym, ABCD, is taught today. Such an acronym and the constant reminder of it give you security and a clear process when everything goes haywire in an emergency situation, especially your own emotions and thoughts. It is therefore wise and good to prepare for emergency situations in calm times. Also for emotional and mental ones. Do you have such an emergency plan? Do you know who you can turn to if you need help? Are you prepared? If not, I'll give you the tip from Psalm 51:15.

I wish you an extraordinary day!
