Description

It is said that certain feelings can simply overtake you. You are overcome by them. In fact, there are moments when certain feelings come over you really unexpectedly: joy or sadness, anger or contentment. I don't think we can produce feelings per se. The most I can probably do is open myself up to them and actively seek them out. For example, I consciously remember something I'm grateful for - maybe that I'm doing well today, that I'm healthy, etc. - and then a certain gratitude comes over me. Other feelings, however, cannot be produced in this way. But what is in any case in our power and responsibility is the action that is triggered on our part. Does joy drive us to generosity and forbearance towards others or anger to aggressive behaviour? Be aware today that even if your behaviour is emotionally driven, it does not absolve you of your responsibility.

I wish you an extraordinary day!
