Description

When we use the word end in German, we usually or exclusively do so with the meaning that something is coming to an end or has gone or will go. End in the sense of a cessation, conclusion, being finished. And when we speak of the "end of the world", it is usually understood in a negative way: in the sense of: the end of the world, now it stops, everything is dead. However, at least in Greek there is also the meaning of full ending. This means that something is not finished in the sense of "now it is finished", but something has come to completion. So the end of a work of art is not: it has ceased to exist, but it has been completed, you can't make it any better - and that's how it is now. This meaning is much more hopeful for me. Perhaps this will inspire you to see an end in certain areas of life as something positive and promising...

I wish you an extraordinary day!
