I know of no fuel-powered vehicle that has the exhaust at the front. Rather, it is placed at the rearmost part in the direction of travel or otherwise at such a great height that the exhaust gases go into the air above head height. So it doesn't occur to anyone to breathe in their own exhaust themselves - but rather to expel it behind them - even without taking into account who may be behind them.... actually very asocial. In everyday life, we sometimes do the same with what we say: whether we express ourselves unfiltered - it can be contaminating for our counterpart. Newer and more environmentally friendly fuels in vehicles are less pathogenic and therefore less dangerous. In this way, we can also pay attention to our own inner fuel, so that it is also environmentally compatible - and this begins, as in the natural world, with the raw material, i.e. our heart, our thoughts, our inner attitude and contentment and balance.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
