Description

Not long ago, after the Second World War, a new nation or country was founded in the middle of Europe: the German Democratic Republic, or GDR for short. The GDR's national coat of arms consisted of a hammer and compasses surrounded by a wreath of ears of corn as a symbol of the alliance of workers, farmers and intelligentsia. The life of the state did not last very long - barely 41 years. It was a dictatorially governed, real socialist state in the sense of the dictatorship of the proletariat. At least that was the official self-confession. From my experience - as a child I was a regular visitor - dictatorial was true, but not real socialist and certainly not of the proletariat. It was more of an oligarchy and the hammer in the coat of arms expressed the pressure of dictatorship rather than the integration of the working people. There were great differences between reality and appearance. Sometimes, unfortunately, that is also the case in one's own life. Let's be real there rather than mendacious.

I wish you an extraordinary day!
