Foam does not have a good reputation. People say disparagingly: dreams are foams. By this they mean that there is no substance. In fact, foam consists mainly of air and soap. It is created when washing dishes or taking a bath. Especially the latter we enjoyed as children - but only if there was really a lot of foam in the bath. It was wonderful to play with. And that brings me to my point. Foam may not be very substantial - but it managed to give me positive memories of my childhood, which couldn't do much else like that. Perhaps insubstantial, but still pleasurable-sustainable and enjoyable. That's exactly what our soul and perhaps also our spirit needs every now and then. Substantial, certainly, but also pleasurable. Perhaps today is a day to allow yourself just such an indulgence, which indeed does not have to be substantial, but simply does you good.
