Description

I was called the other day and informed that as a result of a burst water pipe in the house, the whole basement was under water and it now had to be cleared. This meant that everything that had direct contact with the ground was soaked by water and destined for disposal. Sad - because all my educational documents and also many other things with memories of sometimes decades were affected. Just get rid of it. I had to let go. I disposed of over 600 litres of waste. In the evening I thought about it and also felt a relief in this letting go. Things from the past - they are gone now. I don't have to worry about them any more, I'm freer again. Letting go also has its good side, I realised. And the following night, an image from nature came to me: the fruit, when it is ripe, lets go. It can be harvested. When it is unripe, it holds on. So being able to let go is also an expression of maturity. That is comforting.

I wish you an extraordinary day!
