Description

When I was a child, my father showed me how to slate with stones. In other words, you throw the stone just above the surface of the water and it bounces there and then bounces on until it sinks into the water. The choice of stone and the way it is thrown are crucial. You can refine your throwing technique by practising. However, the quality of the stone is almost more important: it works best with nicely polished, round stones that are not too big and heavy. These slate beautifully and back then we counted how often the stone bounced over the surface of the water and who achieved more of these bounces. This example can easily be transferred to life: the more we grind or allow our character to grind, the easier life becomes, especially in the face of impact or resistance. This is why grinding processes are not always pleasant, but in the end they help you move forward - just like a bouncing stone.

I wish you an extraordinary day!
