Description

Who among us would not want to be happy?! But what is happy? Is happy a state that is derived from happiness and thus means that life just happens to be good to you, i.e. without any effort or merit on your part? Or is happiness contentment? For us, happy seems to be a state that involves relaxation and well-being. Personally, I position happy closer to satisfied than to the randomness of the good that happens to us. Good things can happen to me and I am still not happy because I tend to see a fly in the ointment everywhere. Or I may not necessarily be doing well or better than others and yet I am happy because I am grateful and content with the present. In this case, I have a very high stake in my own ability to be happy because it is linked to my attitude and outlook and not my expectations of my environment. How happy are you?

I wish you an extraordinary day!
