Honey is a delicious natural product that the industrious bees provide us with - or perhaps more correctly: that we steal from the bees. If we weren't such food thieves, the bees would have more. But would there then be more bees? The fact is that although we harvest the honey and actually take it away from the bees, there is enough. You can interpret that however you like. In any case, I think it's great that these hard-working animals are so industrious that we can benefit from their labour and have a healthy natural product to feed on. The give and take doesn't always seem fair, as in this case. We simply take. But it still works without the bees suffering. The additional feeding by beekeepers is also limited. So if you find yourself in a situation today where you feel exploited: perhaps the comparison with honey bees will help you to be a little more relaxed for once.
