Description

Feelings need a host. By this I mean: joy or fear do not exist by themselves. They need a person through whom they manifest. But this also means that this person - by which I mean the host - has a say in how much these feelings can spread. In linguistic usage, we say that we have feelings and are not feelings. This is what is implied. So I also have an influence on which feelings I give how much space. I am not helplessly at the mercy of feelings. This realisation can be especially helpful with negative feelings such as anger, fear, rage or powerlessness. I can take a step back for a moment and ask myself: how much influence and space can these feelings now have and where do I consciously say: Stop! I decide to no longer let myself be dominated by fear or other feelings. If this concerns you right now, I wish you courage and success in actively shaping your emotional world.

I wish you an extraordinary day!
