Description

Some say they only believe what they see. To a certain extent I can understand that. On the other hand, I also wonder whether feelings of any kind are non-existent for them, because you don't see them or illnesses or anything else. I also ask myself why I should rely exclusively on one sense, the sense of sight, to recognise realities and not on all the senses that are available to me. Or I think of Escher's illusions, those hand drawings in which something in the picture doesn't add up: there are three Greek columns at the bottom, for example, but only two at the top, or a water circuit that flows constantly downwards in a circle, but still has no end anywhere. In this way, Escher shows how easily the eye can be deceived and can therefore provide false information. Therefore, I hope for all those who only believe what they see, that they do not believe everything they see.

I wish you an extraordinary day!
