There is a certain body cult in our time and society. People go to the gym, perhaps even have plastic surgery, eat a vegan diet or follow fasting regimes such as 16/8, etc. It is not uncommon to hear in response to the question of how one is doing: "Health is the most important thing." I dare to question this. On the one hand, because I think that we can certainly shape our health to a certain extent, but never completely control it. On the other hand, because I am convinced that in us as human beings there is a longing for more than just life support. Some people make enormous sacrifices for certain goals and risk their health in full awareness. Others are prepared in extreme situations to die for a cause or for people. I think it is worthwhile to ask oneself honestly in between: what am I actually living for? Do you have a satisfactory answer to that?
I wish you an extraordinary day!
