I put my contact lenses in the evening the other day for overnight cleaning with a new cleaning agent. When I put the first lens in the next morning, my eye burned like fire. It was like I was burning my eye. I had no idea what kind of solution I had used. I just felt burning pain. Instinctively, I closed my eye as a reflex - but that was precisely the worst thing I could do. I had to force myself to open my eye so that I could remove the lens as soon as possible and rinse my eye. Maybe you feel the same way in a situation that is very painful for you at the moment. Then you can learn from my example that withdrawing or closing yourself off is normal by reflex, but it leaves you isolated with the pain. I hope you find the determination to open up, address the cause of the pain and perhaps remove it with external help - for your own good. Have courage to do so.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
