It's probably a discontinued model - the key fob. It can be used for one or more keys and you have all the keys you need in one place. Many of the fobs can also be attached to the waistband by means of a device. In the future, locks and doors will probably be opened more and more with the smartphone. The advantage of bundling keys in one place like this is that you have everything together and the key fob only serves this one purpose. The disadvantage is the risk of clumping: if you lose or misplace the fob, all your keys are gone. In a world of multitasking, I like the idea that something only has to serve one purpose and not many. Maybe that's your turn today: to just focus on one thing at a time and not to want to be at many or all of them already.
