Light illuminates and gives all sighted people the information they need to move around safely. It illuminates, brightens and helps us to orientate ourselves. Without light, in the dark, nothing changes in our surroundings - but we are no longer able to take safe steps in the same way. However, light also has the property that above a certain intensity it is harmful to our eyes and can dazzle us to such an extent that we can no longer see anything. So what is so good on the one hand is equally harmful on the other. The fact that we don't suffer any damage depends solely on our line of vision. Light is only indirectly good for us, but not directly. When we are in the light, it helps us, but when we look into the light source, it can harm us. This helps me to understand why we should live our lives before God, but still cannot see Him. At least not in this world.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
