The Enlightenment had brought man a supposed liberation from superstition or the transcendent. It elevated it to sovereignty and independence in its system. Yet not entirely convincing. For today there are still many offers of a religious and supernatural nature and many are those who seek them. Why? Why is it not enough for us to simply live our lives and accept our fate? I believe that it is because deep inside us there is a longing for more, for life, for light-heartedness, for the joy of good relationships and much more that is good for our soul as well as our body and spirit. An enlightened mind alone is not enough; in the end, it does not satisfy this longing. You can ignore this longing, fade it out, talk it down, keep it quiet, trivialise it, etc., but it will not disappear. Or you can face it, listen to it and let it call you.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
