Description

I went to the optometrist the other day. They tested my vision and then they offered me a vision aid that would best correct my visual impairment. In this process, I was fitted with glasses that made it possible to use several lenses with different correction values and correct both astigmatism and dioptre. Finally, the optometrist had another tool: a lens that she manually placed additionally in front of these glasses for me, which resulted in even better or worse vision depending on the alignment. I think we do the same thing every now and then in everyday life: sometimes we want to recognise things in detail and sometimes we prefer it if what we want to see remains blurred and thus less recognisable - because the realisation could make us responsible for acting accordingly. Are you familiar with this and how do you deal with it?

I wish you an extraordinary day!
