I remember as a child having a fascination with our radio set: I could turn it on and off and it received different programmes. What fascinated me the most were the buttons: first switching it on and off, then selecting the station and adjusting the volume myself. It probably gave me a certain authorisation over this device as a child. I could take control, perhaps a kind of feeling of power, but not meant in a negative way. But the fact was or is that without the built-in loudspeaker, all the other functions were useless. And I couldn't adjust anything on it. It was simply there. It simply worked. Reliable, good, inconspicuous. In our social structures, it is often people like these who give a group stability, identity and also value or something special. However inconspicuous they may be. A day to express special appreciation towards them.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
