Description

I recently bought a pastry at the bakery that had a kind of puff pastry at the bottom, then a layer of vanilla cream followed by another thin layer of puff pastry and caramelised almond leaves on top. It was difficult to eat because the top layer was hard. If I applied too much pressure to separate them, the vanilla cream would ooze out on the side. I wondered which of the different layers I would like best. I knew which one. Then I wondered if I would buy and eat a sweet that consisted only of that, because that would be my favourite. Then I realised that I didn't want that. It is precisely because there is something else that the special or favourite stands out all the more. If qualities in others bother you, remember that this may only be in contrast to the pleasant sides, which you may no longer even notice. Therefore, appreciate everything in its combination and thus the person in itself.

I wish you an extraordinary day!
