Board games usually use simple game pieces, each of which is assigned to a player. They are often made of wood, very simple and differ in colour from the other pieces. The pieces are then moved around the board by the corresponding player. If the game is not purely a game of chance, the player moves his piece according to certain strategic considerations. The piece therefore represents the player and all their considerations. However, it would never occur to anyone to compare the piece with the person playing. The dimensions of the purely material figurine are far too different from those of a living person. And yet the player needs the figurine in the game in order to be able to depict and participate, so to speak. This example helps me to understand how infinitely diverse God is towards his creation - and yet he shows himself in it - also in you and me. Do you perceive him?
I wish you an extraordinary day!
