Birds protect their young with their wings. They spread them over the young animals, shielding them and giving them warmth. Spreading these wings so wide - or so I imagine - requires an enormous amount of strength. When I stretch my arms out fully, I can feel the weight and effort after a short time. Protecting others, being there for others is not an easy task and is an exhausting mission. In the course of our lives, we experience again and again how others - as the saying goes - take us under their wings and thus protect and support us. We often don't realise how much energy and strength this costs these people and how much they give up or put aside for us. Perhaps a day to thank such people - parents or superiors - for this and to appreciate it. Read Psalm 91:4: He covers you protectively with his wings; under his wings you will find security.
II wish you an extraordinary day!
