In physics - as I learned at school - there is a law: actio = reactio. This means that an impulse is immediately reciprocated by the opposite side. Or something like that. So the rubber ball falls to the ground and doesn't stay there, but because of its impulse (actio) it is propelled upwards again by the hard surface with a reactio impulse. Or you hit your head on the box - the reactio then hurts. That is physically the case. But also mentally and spiritually. Jesus puts it aptly when he is invited to a rather less empathetic host. He gets to the point and says: "To whom much is forgiven, much is loved - and vice versa. But this also means: whoever becomes aware of how much he has been forgiven and how much mercy he has received, opens his heart much more for others. This helps me when I experience myself as hard-hearted and impatient. Unfortunately, far too often.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
