Professionally, I am always dealing with people from other nations. It's interesting to find out how they perceive Switzerland. Some people confuse our country with Sweden, others know it mainly through the classic things like gold, cheese and chocolate. The other day, someone told me he didn't like Mövenpick glacé that much. And after an exchange about it, I was thoughtful and realised that as a Swiss, I felt reduced to this product. For my counterpart, this product was the gateway to our nation. Rightly so? And representative? I felt generalised and only perceived in a very one-sided way. But then I thought how I probably behave towards other nations and people in the same way: based on certain impressions or reports, I imagine I can form a final opinion. This teaches me to be more careful here - out of appreciation towards these people and nations.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
