Beautiful reeds often grow along the shore of natural lakes. On the one hand, it is beautiful to look at because it looks so natural and untouched, but on the other hand, it also obscures the direct view of the lakeshore and the body of water. And that, I think, is also the purpose of this plant: to be a protection for the creatures that live around and perhaps in the lake. Even though most things in nature are open, there are certain protective elements that nature produces and that are intended by creation to protect. We humans also need such protective elements in our lives. I think they include trust, loyalty, love, patience, friendship, joy, support and assistance and others. Perhaps you are experiencing these from good people - then I invite you to actively thank them. Or you have the privilege of being such a protection for others.
