Description

I met an American soldier the other day who totally reminded me of the actor Denzel Washington. It was interesting: even before I could speak to him, I already had an image of him - namely what I associated with the actor. For me, Denzel Washington is an impressive man and I associate only positive qualities with him - and this is exactly what I transferred to this soldier, even though I had not yet spoken a word with him. Well, in this case that was good and we had a nice conversation. But what if a person's appearance triggers me negatively - then that is very unfair for the person in question and burdensome for the encounter. A man named Samuel had the same experience in Israel many centuries ago. God said to him: a man sees what is before his eyes, the outward appearance, but I, God, see what is in the heart. Ideally, this is congruent. How is that with you?

I wish you an extraordinary day!
