We sometimes say of people or ourselves that he or she or we have rough edges. By this we mean sides and qualities about us that we sometimes bump into. So in situations they lead to resistance and perhaps even conflicts, arguments. Especially for those in need of harmony, such moments or character traits are painful, unpleasant. But... I'm thinking of a screw or its counterpart, the nut: if it weren't angular, we wouldn't be able to fix the screw. The spanner would not grip, would turn empty and there would be no stability. The image of the angular nut helps me because the angular also has something grippy or rough, not round. Therefore, as an encouragement: if you experience rough sides in yourself or others: see them as part of a profile and not as a stumbling block or unevenness that must be smoothed out at all costs.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
