Description

I have been travelling with planes more than average in the past few months. I am fascinated by the fact that these heavy means of transport manage to get off the ground and stay in the air. I think this amazement is obvious. But what is no less amazing, or at least necessary, is that the ground of airports must have enormous stability. I cannot imagine how many tonnes a day such a floor has to withstand in order for the planes to take off and land safely and for the people to be brought to and from the planes. Can this be taken for granted? I think no. Maybe you'll think about how great it is that you can live the mobility in your life the way you do: that connections work out, that transport infrastructure is free etc. It could be a possible source of gratitude for today and to generally be more grateful for small things in everyday life.

I wish you an extraordinary day!
