Description

Chemically speaking, salt is something very simple because it consists of only two elements: Sodium and chlorine. Nevertheless, it is something special, it seems to me: on the one hand, it can be extracted from the ground and, on the other, it is found in the earth's large bodies of water, i.e. in seas and oceans. It is used by humans as a flavour enhancer in food preparation and as a preservative. In most cases, it is invisible where it is present in an environment, i.e. not in its pure form. Too much of it is unhealthy and it is precisely this excess that has the aforementioned preservative effect. That seems somehow contradictory. But it is. What is used positively and intentionally in one place can be harmful in another context. This also applies to our behaviour, our words. And we are responsible for this. Once again: the context is crucial. We are also responsible for making judgements about this.

I wish you an extraordinary day!
