At the fair, we have bumper cars that run on a very slippery surface and are designed to be collided with, that is, to deliberately seek violent contact. We have a special word for this in our dialect - but it cannot easily be translated into the official German language. I don't know a suitable word. So how do I translate so that what I mean is understood? It requires a detailed paraphrase. That's the way it is in some cultures: there are terms that are peculiar to the culture and do not occur in other cultures and thus have no equivalent term. I imagine that from a heavenly perspective it is the same with many things that happen or exist there. On earth this does not exist and so we cannot imagine it. That's why the miracle of Christmas is all the more meaningful to me, and many things that are connected with it.
